General description

HiTrap Protein G HP columns are prepacked with Protein G Sepharose High Performance for fast, easy separations of IgG from different species and subclasses.
pH below 3 is sometimes required to elute strongly bound IgG species. However, protein ligands may hydrolyze at very low pH.

Features and Benefits

High binding capacity of 25 mg IgG/ml medium and fast binding kinetics.
34 μm bead size for high performance, high-resolution purifications.
Binds broad range of different species and subclasses of IgG.
Simple and proven method giving reproducible results.
Designed for use with syringe, peristalic pump, or chromatography system.

Storage and Stability

Please be aware this product may be shipped 90 days before the expiration date. For more information on the batch specific expiration date, please contact technical service.

Other Notes

The pressure over the packed bed varies depending on a range of parameters such as the characteristics of the chromatography medium and the column tubing used.
