How Milli-Q® SQ 2Series Lab Water Systems Work

Thanks to its completely scalable design, any lab bench with an electrical outlet can easily access fresh purified 18.2 MΩ∙cm ultrapure water.

  1. Rapidly fill the 3.5 L Switch tank with reverse osmosis (RO) water in as few as 6 minutes.
  2. Easily carry the Switch tank to your science.
  3. Dispense freshly polished 18.2 MΩ∙cm ultrapure water at any bench.
  4. Repeat as needed.

Milli-Q® SQ 2Series System Configurations

The Milli-Q® SQ 2Series offers a choice of configurations that make the system adaptable and scalable to nearly any lab or building setup. Simply select the setup that best fits your space and user requirements, then easily expand with more modules as your lab evolves. Features common to nearly all Milli-Q® SQ 2Series system configurations include:

  • Rapid pure RO production at a rate of up to 42 L/h, filling the 3.5 L Switch tank in as few as 6 min
  • Ergonomic dispensing of ultrapure water, from 1.6 L/min to drop by drop
  • Simply expand capabilities by adding autonomous ultrapure water dispensing modules (ZSQ200U0T0)

            Milli-Q® SQ 2Series Water Systems are Greener Alternative Products

            As part of our Design for Sustainability (DfS) approach to product development, Milli-Q® SQ 2Series systems were developed to deliver high-quality ultrapure water at multiple locations with a reduced environmental footprint compared to previous generation Direct-Q® systems.

            As a result of these efforts, these new systems are labeled Greener Alternative Products thanks to the following improvements versus previous generation systems:

            • Consume less electricity thanks to simplified design, minimized electronics, and optimized stand-by mode (where most energy is consumed)
            • Consume less water during manufacturing and use 
            • Limited material requirements if 2 or more dispensing locations thanks to a modular design
            • Packaging consists of 100% recycled cardboard with sustainable forestry certification, and protective inserts made of PE with 50% recycled content
