Application

Silver bromide (AgBr) is an efficient visible-light photocatalyst. Its photocatalytic activity is effective in the degradation of pollutants and as an antibacterial.[3] Several studies report the preparation and higher efficacy of AgBr based Z-scheme photocatalysis systems for various applications such as degradation of organic contaminants in water,[1][5] water splitting etc.[2][4]
