Application

Scillaren A has been used as a standard in spectroscopic estimation and reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) analysis of cardiac glycosides from Drimia species.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Scillaren A might inhibit Na+/K+-ATPase.
