Application

Potassium hydroxide (powder) can be used:
  • In the activation of carbon samples.
  • To synthesize K+ doped ZnO microcrystals applicable in the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants.
  • As a base to synthesize the monomer, 4-bromo-N-(4-bromophenyl)-N-(2-(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethyl)aniline by the reaction of bis(4-bromophenyl) amine and 1-(2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethoxy)-2-bromoethane.
