General description

A potent agonist for group II metabotropic glutamate receptors (EC50 = 0.49 µM and 0.44 µM for mGlu2 and mGlu3, respectively). Higher level of activity than glutamate or (±)-trans-ACPD. Widely used in studies related to neurotransmissions mediated via group II mGlu receptors.
