General description

Propargylic ethers have been reported to participate in the preparation of various diindolylmethanes.

Application

Propargyl ether was used for the preparation of polyferrocenes, via polyaddition with 1,1′-bis(azidoethyl)ferrocene. It may be used for the preaparation of cyclic polystyrene.

Various diindolylmethanes were prepared from propargylic ethers and substituted indoles via a platinum-catalyzed tandem indole annulation/arylation cascade. The resulting diindolylmethanes could be converted to natural product malassezin by formylation or indolo[3,2-b]carbazoles by cyclization.

The infrared (IR) spectrum of dipropargyl ether, (HC≡C-CH2)2O, has been reinvestigated for the compound's liquid, amorphous, and crystalline forms. The IR baseline changes and bandshape distortions seen in literature spectra have been considerably reduced by a different choice of conditions

The immunogenicity of subunit vaccines can be augmented by formulating them into nanoparticles. We conjugated recombinant trimetric influenza A/Aichi/2/68(H3N2) hemagglutinin (HA) onto functionalized gold nanoparticle (AuNP) surfaces in a repetitive, oriented configuration. To further improve the immunogenicity, we generated Toll-like
