General description
Dkk-2, Mouse, Recombinant, consists of amino acids 26-259 and expressed in S. frugiperda 21 cells with a C-terminal His•Tag sequence.
Recombinant, mouse Dickkopf related protein 2 (Dkk-2) consisting of amino acids 26-259 and expressed in S. frugiperda 21 cells with a C-terminal His•Tag sequence. Dkk proteins are expressed in mesenchymal tissues and control epithelial transformations.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Inhibition assay: Inhibits WNT-3a-induced alkaline phosphatase production in MC3T3-E1 mouse osteoblastic cells in the presence of BMP-2.
Competetive Binding Assay:
Inhibits 50% binding of biotinylated rhDkk-1 (200 ng/ml) to immobilized rmKremen (4 µg/ml) at a concentration of 5-15 µg/ml.

Warning
Toxicity: Standard Handling (A)
Physical form
Lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered PBS, BSA.
Reconstitution
Following reconstitution refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage or aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage. Stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month at 4°C or for up to 3 months at -20°C.
