Zinc finger protein ubi-d4 (UniProt: Q92785; also known as Apoptosis response zinc finger protein, BRG1-associated factor 45D, BAF45D, D4, zinc and double PHD fingers family 2, Protein requiem, DFP2) is encoded by the DPF2 (also known as BAF45D, REQ, UBID4) gene (Gene ID: 5977) in human. BAF45D is a member of the requiem/DPF protein family and is ubiquitously expressed. It may serve as a transcription factor required for the apoptosis response following survival factor withdrawal from myeloid cells. It is also believed to have a role in the development and maturation of lymphoid cells. It contains 3 zinc-finger domains (C2H2-type aa 209-232; PHD type I aa 270-330; and PHD type 2 aa 327-377). Two isoforms of BAF45D have been described that are generated via alternative splicing.
Specificity
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects BRG1-associated factor 45D in human, mouse, and rat species. It targets an epitope within 17 amino acids from the N-terminal half. The immunogen sequence is conserved in both isoforms.
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated liner peptide that corresponding to 17 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human BRG1-associated factor 45D (DPF2).
Application
Anti-DPF2, Cat. No. ABE1327, is a highly specific rabbit polyclonal antibody that targets BRG1-associated factor 45D and has been tested in Immunocytochemistry and Western Blotting.
Western Blotting Analysis: 2 µg/mL from a representative lot detected DPF2 in 10 µg of PC12 cell lysate.
Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:100-500 dilution from a representative lot detected DPF2 in A431 and HepG2 cells.
Quality
Evaluated by Western Blotting in NIH3T3 cell lysate.
Western Blotting Analysis: 2 µg/mL of this antibody detected DPF2 in 10 µg of NIH3T3 cell lysate.
