General description

N-terminal GST-tagged, recombinant, human, full-length p38α/SAPK2a containing the mutation T106M. Activated using DD-MKK6 (14-537) and repurified using glutathione- agarose.

Contains the gatekeeper mutation T160M in the ATP-binding domain. This mutation increases resistance to SB203580 as compared to the wild type sequence.
