General description

This ElectroGreen® solvent is made of bio-based(corn/beets-derived) safer alternatives to replace synthetic NMP fossil-based solvent with specifications tailored for electronics and energy applications. All our ElectroGreen® solvents line are derived from a renewable resource (verified through C14 ASTM D6866-16testing). We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. Click here for more details.

This solvent blend consists of propylene carbonate 50-70%, Ethyl lactate 30-50%; ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate 20-30%.

Application

This is our bio-based replacement for N-Methyl Pyrrolidone (NMP), a highly used solvent in electronics applications. It has low acidity and water contents, with moderate drying time, and no film residue. It has a flash point over 60 ºC, with excellent solvency for coating and ink formulations. Low vapor pressure and high loading capacity. It is easy and inexpensive to distill/recycle, with no environmentally hazardous ingredients and no Hazardous Air Pollutants.

Storage and Stability

To ensure low water content, handle under inert conditions. Product should be refrigerated upon receipt.
