PLANT GENUS SPECIFIC PHYTOCHEMICAL STANDARDS
Below you can find a selective list of some common medicinal and herbal supplements plants by plant genus. The links will lead you to corresponding listings of chemical marker standards, botanical reference materials, extract reference materials or certified reference material mixes of the corresponding plants.
CERTIFIED REFERENCE MATERIALS
Phytochemical Certified reference materials (CRM) are manufactured under ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 17034 accreditation and are traceable to SI. Click here to learn more about accreditation and traceability.
Our neat CRMs of phytochemicals include products under the TraceCERT® brand as well as secondary pharmaceutical standards that in addition of being ISO 17034 are multi traceable to various pharmacopoeia compendial standards such as USP, EP or BP.
In addition we offer multicomponent certified reference material (CRM) solutions of widely used medicinal plants such as ginseng, ginkgo, ginger, kava, ashwagandha, echinacea, silybum and green tea, aimed at convenience and cost effectiveness. These CRM solutions contain constituents of the corresponding plant.
Also we offer CRM mixes of terpenes, suitable for Cannabis testing.
PHYTOLAB HERBAL REFERENCE STANDARDS
PhytoLab is a world-renowned manufacturer of extensively documented herbal reference standards. As a partner of PhytoLab we provide more than 1400 of their reference standards. Phytolab products include detailed product documentation to confirm product identity and assigned purity. The products have their exact weight printed on the label of the inner vial, enabling their direct dissolution and preventing material loss.
HWI ANALYTIC HERBAL MEDICINE REFERENCE STANDARDS
In collaboration with HWI Pharma Services GmbH, we provide primary and secondary reference standards for use in quality control, in-process control, and stability testing of herbal medicinal products. As the exclusive distributor, we offer standards produced and qualified by HWI Pharma Services GmbH. Each standard is provided with an analytical report containing chromatographic purity, and the content assigned by qNMR.
BOTANICERT BOTANICAL reference materials
We also offer a comprehensive range of Botanical Reference Materials from BotaniCERTTM. Also Check out the BotaniCERT Flyer. These products samples of plants or plant parts (leaf, root, rhizome, fruit, flower, seed...) authenticated by organoleptic criteria, macroscopic and microscopic examination, HP-TLC and HPLC phytochemical fingerprint and genetic markers by PCR. They are given with 2 or 3 markers (ITS, matK, rbcL) and DNA sequences are reported.
Find an BotaniCERT example certificate here.
BOTANICAL EXTRACTS
We offer a series of plant extracts reference materials, designed to serve as references for the analysis and study of medicinal plants. This range includes products from HWI pharma services and NIST. For the HWI products, the identity of the characteristic components of each extract is confirmed and their chromatogram peaks are assigned by comparison with analytical standards. In addition to one or several key components, quantitative values are also given.
