Dimethenamid is a chloroacetamide herbicide mostly used to control broadleaf weeds and annual grasses in crops.

Application

Dimethenamid may have been used as reference standard for pesticide residue analysis from spinach, soybean and orange using supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) followed by GC-MS.
