Gene Information
human ... MRAS(22808)
General description
Muscle RAS oncogene homolog (MRAS) plays a key role in cardiovascular diseases. The MRAS gene codes for a member of the ras superfamily of GTP-binding proteins. MRAS is found in all tissues, particularly in the cardiovascular system. It is involved in signal transduction, including cell growth and differentiation.
Packaging
Kit capacity: 30 assays
Components
Ras Assay Reagent (Raf-1 RBD, agarose) (Cat.# 14-278)
Anti-Ras, clone RAS10 (Cat.# 05-516)
100X GTPγS, 10mM (Cat.# 20-176)
100X GDP, 100mM (Cat.# 20-177)
Mg2+ Lysis/Wash Buffer, 5X (Cat.# 20-168)
Anti-Ras, clone RAS10 (Cat.# 05-516)
100X GTPγS, 10mM (Cat.# 20-176)
100X GDP, 100mM (Cat.# 20-177)
Mg2+ Lysis/Wash Buffer, 5X (Cat.# 20-168)
Quality
This kit precipitated Ras-GTP from HeLa cell lysates that had been loaded with GTPγS. The precipitated Ras-GTP was detected by western immunoblot using 1μg/ml anti-Ras, clone RAS10

AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is tightly regulated by the cellular AMP:ATP ratio and plays a central role in the regulation of energy homeostasis. Previously, AMPK was reported to phosphorylate serine 621 of Raf-1 in vitro. In the present study, we

Neutral matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) play an important role in bone matrix degradation accompanied by bone remodeling. We herein show for the first time that macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF) up-regulates MMP-13 (collagenase-3) mRNA of rat calvaria-derived osteoblasts. The mRNA up-regulation

While scaffold proteins are thought to be key components of signaling pathways, their exact function is unknown. By preassembling multiple components of signaling cascades, scaffolds are predicted to influence the efficiency and/or specificity of signaling events. Here we analyze a
