Asiatic acid (AA) has been used in a study to investigate its antihypertensive effect in high carbohydrate, high fat (HCHF) diet-induced MS metabolic syndrome (MS) rats. It has also been used in a study to understand its chemoprophylaxis effect against malaria in Sprague-Dawley rats.
