4-Azidoaniline hydrochloride is suitable for use in the preparation of photo-reactive polymers, poly(acrylic acid) having encorporated phenylazido groups. It may be used in the preparation of 1-(4-aminophenyl)-1H-[1,2,3]-triazol-4-ylcarbonyl-Phe-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH. It is suitable for use in the synthesis of photo-reactive polysaccharides.
