General description
Beef extract powder is a dehydrated extract of bovine tissue for use in preparing microbiological culture media. It is prepared from selected bovine tissues which are free from fat and sinew. Diverse media utilize beef extract, for example, yeast dextrose broth, Herrold′s egg yolk medium. This nutritional supplement provides a mixture of peptides, individual amino acids, nucleotides, organic acids, minerals, and vitamins.
Application
