Lipid Mixture 1, Chemically Defined(L0288) 제품 설명에서 non-animal source라고 되어 있는데 "0.22 mg/ml cholesterol from New Zealand sheep′s wool" 라는 문구가 있습니다.
1 answer-
L0288 is not derived from animal origin except for 2003140 cholesterol as stated in the sample CoA on the product site.

1 answer-
As listed in the DESCRIPTION section, this product has been cited as a component of bovine serum albumin in a Bracket-Oliphant (BO) medium for the resuspension of sperm pellets. However, this product is typically used as a medium supplement in mammalian cell culture. While there are fatty acids present in BSA, this product alone is not a suitable replacement for bovine serum albumin. Other supplements would be required. The supplement profile would depend on the type of cell being cultured.
