Aplicación

Quality Control Testing

Evaluated by Western Blotting in A431 cell lysate.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:10,000 dilution of this antibody detected AIP in A431 cell lysate.

Tested Applications

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected AIP in lysates rom HepG2 cells and Human kidney tissue.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected AIP in Human kidney tissue sections.

Affinity Binding Assay: A representative lot of this antibody bound recombinant Human AIP with a KD of 5.4 x 10-6 in an affinity binding assay.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user.

AH receptor-interacting protein (UniProt: O00170; also known as AIP; Aryl-hydrocarbon receptor-interacting protein, HBV X-associated protein 2, XAP-2, Immunophilin homolog ARA9) is encoded by the AIP (also known as XAP2) gene (Gene ID: 9049) in human. AIP is a highly conserved and widely distributed protein that serves as a molecular co-chaperone to heat-shock proteins. It also plays a role in aromatic hydrocarbon receptor (AHR)-mediated signaling, possibly by affecting its receptivity for ligand and/or its nuclear targeting. It contains three TPR repeats (aa 179-212; 231-264; and 265-298) in its C-terminal half that mediate many of its protein-protein interactions. It is reported to interact with RET in the pituitary gland and this interaction prevents the formation of AIP-survivin complex. In normal pituitary tissue it is detected in growth hormone and prolactin producing cells. Loss-of-function mutations in AIP gene are known to result in pituitary adenomas and somatotropinomas at early age. AIP is reported to be essential for optimal Akt signaling in response to B cell receptor stimulation. Deletion of AIP in B cells is shown to reduce Bcl6 expression and diminish adaptive immune responses. AIP protects Bcl6 from ubiquitin-mediated proteasomal degradation and helps to maintain the expression of Bcl6. This ZooMAb® recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonal. Forma física

Purified recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody IgG, lyophilized in PBS with 5% Trehalose, normal appearance a coarse or translucent resin. The PBS/trehalose components in the ZooMAb formulation can have the appearance of a semi-solid (bead like gel) after lyophilization. This is a normal phenomenon. Please follow the recommended reconstitution procedure in the data sheet to dissolve the semi-solid, bead-like, gel-appearing material. The resulting antibody solution is completely stable and functional as proven by full functional testing. Contains no biocide or preservatives, such as azide, or any animal by-products. Larger pack sizes provided as multiples of 25 µL.

Reconstitución

300 µg/mL after reconstitution at 25 µL per vial. Please refer to guidance on suggested starting dilutions and/or titers per application and sample type.

Almacenamiento y estabilidad

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 µL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
