Karl Fischer titration is still the most used, most accurate, and fastest method to determine water content in all kinds of sample matrices. This titration week covers different aspects that need to be considered when determining the water content in products, raw materials, and other substances. Experts from the life science business of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, Metrohm AG, and METTLER TOLEDO will present and discuss different steps of the Karl Fischer titration process and how to improve it.
Overcome the challenges associated with this technique by attending the three webinars and one roundtable discussion being held June 19-22, 2023. Learn about advancements in the field from our experts, as well as our partners Metrohm AG and METTLER TOLEDO. Topics include:
- How to improve the accuracy of your results by carefully selecting the appropriate reagents and sample preparation techniques
- The differences between coulometric and volumetric methods and when to use which method
- Direct titration versus gas phase extraction (also called Karl Fischer Oven Method)
- The importance of using CRM-grade Karl Fischer Standards for your applications
- Which analytical performance parameters should be considered in the validation of the Karl Fischer titration procedures
