2-(Diethylamino)-6-methyl-4-pyrimidinol is a metabolite of pirimiphos-methyl, which is a broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide used for the protection of food from pests.

Application

2-(Diethylamino)-6-methyl-4-pyrimidinol may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in human biological samples and fish tissues by liquid chromatography (LC) based techniques.
