General description

EPA 8270 Semivolatile Internal Standard Mix is a multi-component solution containing certified reference materials (CRMs) such as acenaphthene-d10, chrysene-d12, 1,4-dichlorobenzene-d4, naphthalene-d8, perylene-d12, and phenanthrene-d10.

US EPA 8000 Series methods are analytical methods for identifying and quantifying halogenated and aromatic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) on the EPA′s Appendix VIII and Appendix IX lists in solid wastes and groundwater at active hazardous treatment, storage, and disposal sites.

Application

EPA 8270 Semivolatile Internal Standard Mix is used as an internal standard to quantify intermediate-volatile and semi-volatile compounds (I/SVOCs) from domestic solid fuels by comprehensive two-dimensional gas chromatography with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC×GC-ToF-MS).
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.

Other Notes

This Certified Reference Material (CRM) is produced and certified in accordance with ISO 17034 and ISO/IEC 17025. All information regarding the use of this CRM can be found on the certificate of analysis.
