General description

Chlorfenson is a pyrethroid pesticide effective against mites of citrus fruit, vegetable crops and ornamentals. It is a non-systemic acaricide with residual ovicidal activity.

Application

Chlorfenson may be used as a reference standard for the determination of chlorfenson in bee pollens by using a solid-phase extraction (SPE) column for cleanup followed by gas chromatography using electron-capture detector.
