General description

Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskittes based semiconducting materials exhibit excellent properties such as long charge carrier lifetime and diffusion length, and high photolumiscence quantum yield. These properties render the perovskite materials useful for applications in light emitting diodes (LEDs), lasers and photodetectors. The di-n-butylammonium tetrabromoplumbate is 2D-layered perovskite and finds applications as violet emitter in LEDs.

Violet electroluminescence is rare in both inorganic and organic light-emitting diodes (LEDs). Low-cost and room-temperature solution-processed lead halide perovskites with high-efficiency and color-tunable photoluminescence are promising for LEDs. Here, we report room-temperature color-pure violet LEDs based on a two-dimensional lead

Two-dimensional (2D) organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite nanosheets (NSs) are attracting increasing research interest due to their unique properties and promising applications. Here, for the first time, we report the facile synthesis of single- and few-layer free-standing phenylethylammonium lead halide perovskite NSs
