General description

Sephadex® is a beaded gel filtration medium prepared by cross-linking dextran with epichlorohydrin under alkaline conditions. It is used in affinity chromatography, protein chromatography and gel filtration chromatography.

Application

Sephadex® G-25 has been used in size-exclusion chromatography to remove excess dye from labelled proteins.
