What is the recommended concentration of oxyrase in broth? I plan to add it to Todd Hewitt broth for better growing strep species. Once the oxyrase in TH broth is made, at what temperature should it be stored? And how long will it be viable? Thanks!
1 answer-
The recommended concentration of oxyrase in broth is 0.1 mL of the product added aseptically to each 1.0 mL of prepared sterile broth medium. After preparation, the oxyrase in Todd Hewitt broth should be stored at 4 °C. The viability of the product can vary, but it is generally recommended to use it within a few weeks for optimal performance.
