Prochloraz belongs to the imidazole class of fungicides, with protective and curative action, found to be effective against different fungi affecting cereal crops, turf, citrus and tropical fruit, field legumes and beet. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of ergosterol biosynthesis.

Application

Prochloraz may be used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in agricultural commodities using different chromatography techniques.
