Description générale

Endoplasmic reticulum metallopeptidase 1 (ERMP1) is also called as felix-ina and is part of the M28 family of peptidases. The gene encoding it is localized on human chromosome 9p24.1.

Application

Actions biochimiques/physiologiques

Endoplasmic reticulum metallopeptidase 1 (ERMP1) has been shown to be expressed in small cell lung cancers (SCLCs). Studies on rats have shown that the knockdown of the protein leads to development of polyovular follicles.
