Cell Line Description

MM485 is a human melanoma derived from a metastatic site (lymph node). Cell Bank Australia reference number CBA-1355

Culture Medium

RPMI 1640 (R0883) (with 2 mM L-L-Glutamine (G7513) + 25 mM HEPES (H0887) + 10% FBS / FCS (F2442).

Subculture Routine

Optimal split ratio 1:4 (seeding density 1.2 x 104 cells/cm2). Cells incubated at 37 °C with 5% CO2. Harvest the cells using 0.05% Trypsin/EDTA at 37 °C for 5 min.
