Description générale

Inositol phospholipid species are membrane-bound signaling molecules that have been implicated in almost all aspects of cellular physiology, including cellular growth, metabolism, proliferation, and survival.

Application

18:0-20:4 PI(3,4,5)P3 or 1-stearoyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho-(1′-myo-inositol-3′,4′,5′-trisphosphate) (ammonium salt) has been used in:
  • liposomes for liposome-pelleting assay to identify the binding preference of FCH and double SH3 domains protein (FCHSD2) for specific phosphoinositide
  • liposomes to study specific protein-lipid interactions
  • host 1-O-1-(Z)-octadecenyl-2-arachidonoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine (plasmenyl-SAPC) small unilamellar vesicles (SUVs) in the presence of H2O2 to activate cyt c plasmalogenase activity

Multiple proteins act co-operatively in mammalian clathrin-mediated endocytosis (CME) to generate endocytic vesicles from the plasma membrane. The principles controlling the activation and organization of the actin cytoskeleton during mammalian CME are, however, not fully understood. Here, we show that
