Small Business Supplier Diversity
SUPPLIER DIVERSITY
At Merck, we are committed to fostering a truly inclusive culture that is representative of the communities in which we work and live. The more diverse our people, the better we can address current and future challenges to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
We approach Diversity, Equity & Inclusion with purpose and intention, recognizing the value diversity brings to our business and the industry as a whole. As such, we see supplier diversity as a business imperative and proactively work to ensure an inclusive approach to procurement is taken throughout our sectors.
Within a diversified supplier landscape business and economic opportunities are enhanced for all. The benefits of Merck’s commitment to Supplier Diversity extend deep into the community, strengthening connections with the small businesses that drive our economy, and specifically supporting those that are owned by historically under-represented groups, including minorities, women, LGBTQ and veterans, among other.
Merck continues to collaborate across the business and with our partners to drive supplier diversity and enhance the work we are doing to support our communities. For more information on our programs click here.
