Application

Each unit of RM 8301 includes three vials, each containing two simulated solutions labeled RM 8301 (Coral) and RM 8301 (Foram). Each vial holds approximately 4 mL of a gravimetrically prepared solution with a nominal mass fraction of 50 mg/g of calcium, dissolved in approximately 3 mol/L nitric acid in water.

Features and Benefits

  • Reference values and expanded uncertainties for δ11BSRM951 are determined using the DerSimonian-Laird analysis method within the NIST Consensus Builder.
  • Expiration details, instructions for handling, storage and use are provided on the NIST certificate.

Other Notes

Certified for the analytes listed below.
Boron (11B/10B)

Reference/Informational value is provided for the following analytes.
Boron (B), Calcium (Ca)
