Application

Gelatin-Rhodamine B, 300 g Bloom is gelatin grafted with Rhodamine B that can be used in drug delivery research. Gelatin is a denatured protein that is obtained by hydrolysis of animal collagen. Its biodegradability, biocompatibility, chemical modification potential, and cross-linking possibility make gelatin-based nanoparticles (GNPs) a promising carrier system for drug delivery applications. Gelatin-Rhodamine B is uniquely suited for bioimaging and has several advantages − high fluorescence quantum yield, excellent sensitivity, and broad emission wavelength.
