CCT137690 is a very potent, orally bioavailble, pan aurora kinase inhbitor (IC₅₀ = 15, 25, and 19 nM for Aurora A, B and C respectively). CCT137690 inhibits tumor growth in amouse xenograft model and causes multipolar spindle formation, chromosome misalignment, polyploidy and apoptosis in tumor cell lines.
