General description
Cantharidin ist ein giftiges Vesikans, das von Blasenkäfern produziert wird. Es wird zur Behandlung von Hämorrhoiden, Geschwüren, giftigen Würmern und tuberkulöser Scrofuloderma verwendet. Es wird als Aphrodisiakum, Abortivum und in der Tiermedizin als Diuretikum eingesetzt.[1]
Application
Cantharidin wird zur Hemmung der Proteinphosphatase 2 (PP2A) eingesetzt.
