12-Hydroxyoctadecansäure-Polymer mit α-Hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethandiyl) ist ein pH-unabhängiges, nichtionisches Tensid und ein wirksames Lösungs- und Emulgierungsmittel. Es ist in wässrigen Medien und polaren organischen Lösungsmitteln löslich, jedoch nicht in apolaren Lösungsmitteln. Seine Struktur umfasst 12-Hydroxystearinsäure (lipophile Einheit) und Polyethylenglykol (hydrophile Einheit).
Anwendung
- 12-Hydroxyoctadecansäure-Polymer mit α-Hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethandiyl) wurde wie folgt verwendet:
- beim Lösen von Dexamethason (DEX) zur intraperitonealen Injektion in Mäuse, um die Griffkraft zum Messen der Muskelkraft zu prüfen
- bei der Herstellung von Roflumilast zum Behandeln von Kaninchen und Meerschweinchen, um die Mechanismen und die pharmakologische Sensitivität von durch Ozon ausgelösten hypertussiven Reaktionen zu untersuchen
- zum Auflösen von Finerenon für die orale Anwendung in In-vivo-Studien
Biochem./physiol. Wirkung
12-Hydroxy-octadecansäure-Polymer mit α-Hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethandiyl) wird hauptsächlich als Lösungsvermittler in parenteralen und oralen Formulierungen verwendet. Es wird für In-vitro-Screening und In-vivo-Wirksamkeitsstudien von Verbindungen eingesetzt. 12-Hydroxy-octadecansäure-Polymer mit α-Hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethandiyl) wird aufgrund seiner solublisierenden Eigenschaften und Sicherheitsprofile auch in ophthalmischen, makromolekularen, Zäpfchen- und Proteinformulierungen verwendet. Es kann Mizellen im Bereich von 10–15 nm bilden. 12-Hydroxyoctadecansäure-Polymer mit α-Hydro-ω-hydroxypoly(oxy-1,2-ethandiyl) kann zur Entwicklung von intravenösen Mikroemulsion-Formulierungen verwendet werden.

How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. This product can be stored at room temperature. Products that are robust in nature and extremely stable, in the original unopened container, are not assigned an expiration date or retest schedule. These products will have no dating reported on either the label or the Certificate of Analysis.
Products that are not assigned an expiration or retest date are covered by a warranty period of 1 year from the date of product shipment.
