General description

Riboflavin-Natriumphosphat-Hydrat ist auch unter der Bezeichnung Flavinmononukleotid (FMN) bekannt. FMN ist ein wasserlöslicher Mikronährstoff, der enzymatisch aus Riboflavin (RF) erzeugt wird. Riboflavin 5′-Monophosphat ist einer der Bestandteile des Coenzyms Flavin-Adenin-Dinukleotid.

Application

Riboflavin-Natriumphosphat-Hydrat wurde als wasserlösliches Modellmedikament in einer Kombination der konventionellen Tintenstrahldrucktechnologie und des Flexodrucks für die Herstellung von Arzneimittelabgabesystemen verwendet.[1] Es kann als Auslöser der photoinitiierten Polymerisation von Acrylamid verwendet werden. Es kann in einem Chronoamperometrie-Assay für Vanadiumionen verwendet werden.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Riboflavin-Natriumphosphat-Hydrat bzw. Flavin-Mononukleotid (FMN) ist fluoreszent, lichtempfindlich und redoxaktiv.
