Beschreibung

Application

Dieser MRS-Bouillon enthält pflanzliche statt tierische Peptone. Das Medium wird für die Isolierung und Kultivierung von Lactobacilli-Spezies empfohlen.

Preparation Note

Suspend 47.2 g in 1000 ml distilled water containing 1 ml polysorbate 80 (TWEEN^® 80; Sigma P8074). Boil to dissolve the medium completely and mix thoroughly. Sterilize by autoclaving at 15 lbs pressure (121°C) for 15 minutes. If necessary adjust the pH with glacial acetic acid after sterilization.
