General description

Ein potenter und reversibler Inhibitor der Histon-Deacetylase. Blockiert die Zellzyklusprogression in der Phase G1 in HeLa-Zellen und führt zu einem 12-fachen Anstieg der intrazellulären Spiegel von Gelsolin. Veranlasst die Umkehrung onkogener ras-veränderter NIH 3T3-Zellen in eine normale Morphologie. Hemmt die IL-2-Genexpression (IC₅₀ = 73 nM) in Jurkat-Zellen und zeigt immunsuppressive Wirkung in einem Mausmodell. IC₅₀ = 6 nM für HDAC1; 38 nM für HDAC4, und 8,6 nM für HDAC6A.

IC₅₀ = 6 nM für HDAC1; 38 nM für HDAC4, und 8,6 nM für HDAC6A. Eine 10-mM-Lösung (500 µg/165 µl) von Trichostatin A, Streptomyces sp. (Best.-Nr. 647926) in DMSO ist ebenfalls erhältlich.

Preparation Note

Nach der Rekonstitution in DMSO in Aliquote aufteilen und einfrieren (-20 °C). Nach der Rekonstitution in Ethanol im Kühlschrank aufbewahren (4 °C). DMSO-Stammlösungen sind bei -20 °C bis zu 6 Monate stabil. Ethanol-Stammlösungen sind bei 4 °C bis zu 3 Monate haltbar.
