Beschreibung

General description

DNA-Gyrase-Inhibitor, der für die Herstellung von positiv superspiralisierter Plasma-DNA verwendet wird. Hemmt die Retrovirus-RNA-abhängigen DNA-Polymerasen. Ist zudem ein potenter Inhibitor der ADP-Ribosylierung, der das Wildtyp-pMG110-Plasmid aus E. coli eliminiert.

Ein DNA-Gyrase-Inhibitor, der für die Herstellung von positiv superspiralisierter Plasma-DNA verwendet werden kann. Zielt auf die Nukleotid-Bindungsstelle von Gyrase B ab. Zeigt antibakterielle Eigenschaften. Hemmt die Retrovirus-RNA-abhängigen DNA-Polymerasen. Hemmt die LPS-induzierte Produktion von pro-inflammatorischen Zytokinen. Wirkt Berichten zufolge als potenter Inhibitor der ADP-Ribosylierung. Hemmt auch die Proteinsynthese und verändert den Phosphorylierungszustand mehrerer zytosolischer Proteine.
