Questions

  1. is 1 g/dL of periodic acid solution the same as 0.1%? Or do I need to dilute it to obtain 0.1%?

    1 answer
    1. The designation 'g/dL' represents grams per deciliter. A deciliter is the equivalent of 100 mL. A 1 g/dL solution is 1g/100 mL or 1%. A 0.1% solution would require dilution with 9 parts of the approriate solvent, in this case water, to 1 part of this product.
