Yes, the chambers can be removed after culture. Lab-Tek II slides use a hydrophobic acrylic adhesive that remains on the slide after chamber removal but, due to its very low profile, will not interfere with coverslips.

This product features a glass slide as the base, supporting a polystyrene chamber divided into 8 separate wells. The glass surface is tissue culture treated. The chambers are leak-proof and sealed at the base to prevent cross-contamination. One package includes 16 chambered slides. No additional accessories are included. Please review the image below:
