Description

General description

α-Tocopherol (vitamin E) is a lipid-soluble antioxidant found in whole grains, nuts, and oils. It is known to scavenge reactive oxygen species by interacting with lipids during oxidative stress.
α-Tocopherol-(phenyl-¹³C₆) is an isotope of vitamin E wherein all the six phenyl carbons are replaced by ¹³C₆ carbon.
