Application

Sodium succinate dibasic hexahydrate can be used to study x-ray crystallography, protein structural analysis, proteomics and optimization reagents. Sodium succinate dibasic hexahydrate has been used to determine the calorimetric and diffractometric evidence for the sequential crystallization of buffer components and the consequential pH swing in frozen solutions. Sodium succinate dibasic hexahydrate has also been used to provide insights into the mechanism of Pseudomonas dacunhae aspartate β-decarboxylase from rapid-scanning stopped-flow kinetics.

Sequential crystallization of succinate buffer components in the frozen solution has been studied by differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffractometry (both laboratory and synchrotron sources). The consequential pH shifts were monitored using a low-temperature electrode. When a solution buffered to

The mechanism of wild-type and R37A mutant Pseudomonas dacunhae aspartate beta-decarboxylase (ABDC) was studied by rapid-scanning stopped-flow spectrophotometry. Mixing wild-type ABDC with 50 mM disodium l-Asp resulted in the formation of a 325 nm absorption peak within the dead time

Pancreatic cancer has a poor prognosis after complete macroscopic resection combined with chemotherapy. Even after neoadjuvant chemotherapy, R0 resection is often not possible. Moreover, current imaging techniques cannot reliably distinguish viable cancer cells from scar tissue at the resectional margin.
