General description
Application
- In Biginelli reactions to synthesize dihydropyrimidinones by solvent-free conditions.[5]
- In the synthesis of 2-imidazolines by the reaction of aldehydes and ethylenediamine in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and sodium iodide.[6]
The mixture of MgSO4 and bayerite is used to prepare single-phase,MgAl2O4 spinel nanoparticles by calcining the powder mixture at 800 oC.[7]
MgSO4 (anhydrous) can also be used as a drying agent in organic synthesis for the removal of traces of water from organic extracts.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
