General description
Nutridoma-CS is a serum replacement solution which helps in cell proliferation when added to a suspension. Its major component is β-D xylopyranose which has ring shaped sugar allowing the cells to grow in a suspension even without serum.
application
Contents
Solution, 50× concentrated, Biochemically defined, filtered through 0.2μm pore size membrane, serum-free medium supplement composed of albumin, insulin, transferrin, several cytokines, a cholesterol source, and other defined organic and inorganic compounds. Nutridoma-CS contains human proteins.
Solution, 50× concentrated, Biochemically defined, filtered through 0.2μm pore size membrane, serum-free medium supplement composed of albumin, insulin, transferrin, several cytokines, a cholesterol source, and other defined organic and inorganic compounds. Nutridoma-CS contains human proteins.
Biochemically defined supplement for the replacement of fetal bovine serum (FBS) in cultures of hybridoma cells. Nutridoma-CS supports the growth of SP2/0-, P3x63Ag8.653-, and NS-1-derived hybridomas. It is specifically formulated to optimize the growth of freshly fused hybridomas during selection and cloning procedures in serum-free cell culture without feeder cells.
Nutridoma™-CS has been used as a supplement in neurobasal medium for culturing human embryonic stem cell (hESC) lines.
Unit Definition
Endotoxin (LAL): 100 EU/ml, mycoplasma tested
Physical form
Solution (50x concentrated, pH 7.4); sterile. The protein concentration is less than 1 mg/ml for 2% (1x) working concentration.
Preparation Note
Working concentration: Nutridoma-CS (50x) is diluted 1:50 (v/v) in basal medium. It is strongly suggested to use RPMI 1640. The final protein concentration is less than 1 mg/ml. The final medium should also contain L-glutamine and β-mercaptoethanol.
Other Notes
For life science research only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
