Description

General description

Sulfuryl chloride fluoride may be prepared by reaction ammonium fluoride or potassium fluoride with surfuryl chloride in the presence of trifluoroacetic acid.[1]

Application

Used in the preparation of novel fluorinated alkanesulfonyloxaziridines,[2] and in the alkoxylation of fullerene C₆₀.[3]
