General description

Triphenylsilylamine is a silyl compound.[1]

Application

Triphenylsilylamine may be used in the following studies:
  • Preparation of dimers of the type [Ti(μ-NR)(NMe2)2]2 (R = 1-adamantyl, (t)Bu, SiPh3).[2]
  • Silylation during the pretreatment of fused silica capillary surface to achieve a homogeneous film.[3]
  • Preparation of triphenylsilylsulfinylamine, via reaction with thionylchloride.[4]
  • To investigate the molecular tuning effect of silanation treatment for HZSM-5 crystals.[1]
  • Synthesis of 9-aminopyrido[3′,3′:4,5]pyrrolo[1,2-c]pyrimidine (9-aminosubstituted derivative).[5]
