Application

(R)-(+)-N,N-Dimethyl-1-ferrocenylethylamine may be used as a starting material to synthesize:
  • chiral 1,2-disubstituted ferrocenyl amino alcohols[1]
  • ferrocene-based P-chiral phosphine ligands[2]
  • optically active α-ferrocenyl tertiary amines[3]
Ligand used in the preparation of chiral allylic alcohols,[4] axially chiral allenecarboxylic esters,[5] and rhodium(I)-catalyzed asymmetric hydrosilylation of ketones.[6]
